The devil discovers his mortal wife is having an affair after she gave birth to twins. He chases her out of the house after beating her up, despite the pleas of their sons, Xiang Jie and Kai Siong. She manages to find a home for her son and daughter, in the form of her ex-lover, Fu Zhi. Exhausted, she dies when she drops into a ditch and this her head. Fu Zhi tries to suffocate the babies due to his poor financial status but relents. He gives up Yuteng as his dead mother had always wanted a grandson.
Fu Zhi’s wife, Su Lan is friends with Hui Qing. Hui Qing and her husband was the couple that had adopted Yuting. Her husband, Luo Zhi Yan, molested Yuteng and Hui Qing left the house, promising Yuting that she would return. Yuting’s happy family is gone.Fu Zhi lies that Wen Xuan and Yuteng are his distant cousin’s children. Su Lan is suspicious and finally, her husband tells her the truth. Su Lan is furious and meets up with Hui Qing and they both agree to divorce their husbands. On the road, Hui Qing receives a phone call from a hospital. Apparently, her husband had a heart attack when she left and she loses control and both of them die when the car falls down a grass verge. The devil is still trying to find Wen Xuan and Yuteng to get rid of them. Not knowing Su Lan and Hui Qing’s identities, he sympathizes with them and gives them a choice: they can die or be sent back to the world of the living. Su Lan decides to face the music and goes back to the living, Hui Qing dies.
The present…
Wen Xuan meets an orphan, Huang Shi Yi, and they quickly develop feelings for each other. He also meets up with his old friend, Chen Xing Ling. Xing Ling meets Yuteng by chance and Xing Ling falls for her immediately. Zhi Yan married another woman and they had a daughter, Liying. Liying is cold and distant, but has been showered with attention. Yuting is forced to do all the housework and becomes jealous.
The devil has 3 children; 1 of them borne by his current wife, Peifang.
They are Kai Siong, Peiying and Xiang Jie. Xiang Jie is married to kind Xu Yun. Xiang Jie is a drug dealer and despite his father’s meaningful advice, he continues to be a wastrel. One day, a girl, Meiqi, arrives at his door. She claims to be Xiang Jie’s illegitimate daughter, and Xu Yun is stunned.
Peiying meets freelancing photographer Wen Jie. She is impressed with his wonderful work, but wen jie knows her as the CEO of Xu group, whose previous chief- Peiting’s father caused his family to become bankrupt. Kai Siong treats his stepmother and stepsister with animosity as he believed it was them who caused his mother to run away. He believes that he should be the one to run Xu group, and constantly tries to usurp Peiying.The Jade emperor knows the devil’s intentions and sends Yu Caihong, a disgraced angel, to watch over the devil. Caihong, knowing nothing of the human world, is nearly kidnapped by some robbers. Fu Zhi manages to rescue her and she falls for him. She betrays heaven and works with the devil when she realizes she cannot be with Fu Zhi.Wen Xuan meets cold Liying when her boutique employs him. He manages to warm her heart, but Yuting has also fallen for him. Liying decides to give him up. Shi Yi misunderstands that Wen Xuan is abandoning her and gets drunk. Xing Ling, after being rejected by Yuting also drowns his sorrows, and both of them have a one-night stand. Wen Xuan finds out and is angry at the betrayal. Shi Yi also discovers she is pregnant.
Xiang Jie is suspicious of Cai Hong but the devil ignores him. Xiang Jie is soon killed in a mysterious fire. Kai Siong meets with Yuting and falls for her, but decides not to make a move as Yuting likes somebody else. When Yuting discovers Liying is giving Wen Xuan up, she is ecstatic. However, Wen Xuan ignores her as he knows she is the cause of trouble. She begins to lose her mind and is kidnapped. Little does she know that it is in fact the work of the devil...Wen Xuan and Liying search for Yuting who manages to escapebut runs in front of Liying's car. Liying cannot stop in time andhits her sister. Yuting is paralyzed from the waist down andensures that her sister spends as much time as possiblein jail...Yes i know its nearly my name but these names are all based
in my primary school. And pls don think i am so arrogant
that i use myself as Wen Xuan. There is part II and Part III.
Shi Yi's name is just a total coincidence, i made this story
last year ay 22 / 8 /08 really i save the date.
